That morning, I woke up with a strange sense that something was different. Snuggled under my blanket, I couldn’t quite place what it was, but the feeling lingered as I rubbed my eyes and shuffled toward the window. The moment I pulled the curtain aside, I froze. Everything outside was blanketed in white — snow! It must have fallen heavily overnight, turning the streets, rooftops, and trees into a winter wonderland. I just stood there for a while, taking it all in. There’s something about that first fresh snowfall that feels almost magical, like the world hit pause and everything’s just… peaceful.

The sun was up, casting a soft glow over the snow, but it wasn’t doing much to melt it away.

As much as I wanted to stay in and enjoy the cozy vibes, work was calling. I layered up, bracing myself for the cold, and stepped outside. The air hit me instantly, crisp and sharp, as I exhaled little clouds of breath. My car was coated in frost, so I spent a good few minutes scraping the windows before heading off. The roads, as expected, were slick, so I drove extra cautiously, keeping my speed low and hands steady. Despite the tension of navigating icy streets, I couldn’t help but be enchanted…
