I spent an hour at the bank with my grandpa because he needed to transfer some money.

I couldn’t hold back and asked…

“Grandpa, why don’t we activate internet banking for you?”

“Why should I do that?” he asked…

“Well, that way you won’t need to spend an hour here just for things like transfers.”

“You could also shop online. Everything will be so easy!”

I was so excited to introduce him to the world of internet banking.

He asked, “So, if I do that, I won’t have to leave the house anymore?”

“Yes, yes!” I replied. I told him that even daily necessities can now be delivered to the house, and Amazon delivers everything!

His answer left me speechless.

He said, “Since I entered this bank today, I have met four of my friends, and I’ve had a brief chat with the staff who know me very well by now.”

“You know, I am alone… this is the company I need. I like to get ready and come to the bank. I have enough time, it’s the physical touch I crave.”

“Two years ago, I got sick, and the store owner from whom I buy fruits came to see me, sat by my bedside, and cried.”
