When you look for ways to earn money on the internet, you often hear about using paid survey websites.

These websites that pay you for surveys can be a simple method to earn some extra cash when you have free time. However, there are numerous such sites, and most of them offer very low pay and aren’t really worth your time.

Freecash, a popular GPT site, claims that you can make a consistent $100 or more per month with its platform.

But is Freecash legit? And how much can you really make?

I tested out Freecash to find out. And in this Freecash review, I’m covering everything you need to know about this paid survey site so you can decide if it’s right for you.

Let’s get to it.

What Is Freecash.com?

Freecash is a GPT (get-paid-to) website that lets you earn money by completing surveys, testing apps, signing up for brand offers, placing bets, and completing several other online tasks.

According to its website, Freecash has paid its members nearly $25 million since it started. And the company has a 4.6-star rating on Trustpilot.

Freecash used to be called Freeskins.com, but the company rebranded in 2021. Nowadays, it’s a fairly popular survey website that also has plenty of ways to earn.

If you’ve ever used survey sites like Branded Surveys or Grindabuck, Freecash should feel very easy to use and familiar.

And I will say that the site has some cool features, like a leaderboard section which shows you the top earners along with how much they’re making.

Is Freecash Legit?

Freecash is legit and pays you for completing short online tasks and for answering surveys. It has millions of members according to its website, and it’s also highly-rated on websites like Trustpilot. However, the site only pays a few dollars per hour at most, so don’t expect full-time income.

In testing Freecash, I’ve found that the site is pretty easy to use. And I also like that there’s plenty of ways to earn.

I think it has far fewer survey options than sites like Prolific or Branded Surveys, which I don’t like. But the Offerwall section is pretty robust. And I like the variety of rewards and $5 minimum.

Overall, this is a legit gpt site you can test out. But know that you probably won’t make much money unless you put a lot of time in.

How Does Freecash Work?

It took me about 30 seconds to sign up for Freecash, and I’ve found that the website is fairly straightforward and beginner-friendly.

Getting started with Freecash works in seven basic steps:

  1. Sign up
  2. Answer Surveys
  3. Complete Offerwall Tasks
  4. Refer Your Friends
  5. Win Leaderboard Contests
  6. Enter Promo Codes
  7. Cash Out

Let’s cover how the entire process works in a bit more detail.

1. Sign Up

To sign up, head over to Freecash.com and click on the “sign up” button on the top right.

The website asks for basic info like an email, password, and to create a username. Once you do that, you can start using Freecash to make some extra beermoney in your spare time.

And what I like about Freecash is that there’s quite a few ways to earn rewards. Let’s explore them!

2. Answer Surveys

Answering surveys is the most popular way to make money with Freecash, which isn’t too surprising since this is how most sites work.

You can find survey partners on your homepage, and Freecash works with companies like CPX Research, BitLabs, and Pollfish to provide surveys.

At first, it might not seem like there are many options. But once you select one of the survey partners and answer a few questions, you see all the surveys you can take with them.

Surveys can pay $0.25 to $1, or a few dollars if you get lucky. This is a lower average rate than survey sites like Prolific and Kashkick, but it’s pretty standard for the industry.

But keep in mind that a lot of the surveys are based on your demographics, so you might not qualify for that many surveys. And always be honest so you avoid getting banned.

3. Complete Offerwall Tasks

Another way to earn money with Freecash is to complete various Offerwall tasks. These are short gigs and sponsored offers that include:

  • Watching ads
  • Installing & testing apps
  • Getting paid to play games
  • Signing up for brand promotions
  • Downloading apps
  • Signing up for subscriptions

Offers are quite diverse, so you might find ones that require downloading a new mobile game to ones that pay you for trying out a new investing app.

Some of the offers are quite lucrative as well, and you can find $10 bonuses to $50+ bonuses from various partners.

Just note that for certain offers, you will need a valid credit card to sign up for things.

For example, there’s an offer in my Freecash account to sign up for a 3 month trial with Sirius XM radio for $1. You have to pay that $1 out of pocket, but the offer pays you over $6.

In other words, you usually get your money back for sign up deals which makes them pretty worth it. Just don’t forget to cancel your memberships before the trial period is up.

Also note that some tasks require reaching a certain in-game level, which can take a few days or weeks of effort.

4. Refer Your Friends

Like many other survey sites, you can also make money with the Freecash referral program. This pays you 5% of all earnings someone makes if you invite them to the platform.

This is a nice way to earn passive income if you invite your friends. But I wish the site paid a flat dollar bonus so you could cash out faster.

However, your friends get a Free Case as a welcome bonus. A Free Case is like a “spin the wheel” prize where you can earn a random amount of free points depending on what it lands on.

5. Win Leaderboard Contests

If you’re at the top of the leaderboards on any given day, Freecash says that it pays you a $500 bonus. The company also pays out a $5,000 monthly bonus to the top earner on the site.

This is a lot of free money up for grabs. And it can make Freecash a more fun side hustle since you can compete with others.

That said, it’s a very competitive site since it’s so popular. So I don’t think it’s realistic for most people to earn much money.

6. Enter Promo Codes

If you follow Freecash on social media, the company randomly drops promo codes that you can enter on the site.

Freecash promo codes let you spin the rewards wheel to earn a surprise amount of cash. However, the chances of hitting anything higher than $2.50 in rewards during a spin is pretty low, so don’t expect to earn hundreds of dollars.

You can also use the Freecash promo code “free” when you sign up to get a free spin at the reward wheel.

The rewards go up to $250, so you still have a chance at winning some decent cash.

7. Cash Out

The final step in using Freecash is to actually redeem your earnings. And the great news is that Freecash has some pretty unique rewards versus other survey sites.

You can still cash out with PayPal money as long as you have $5 in your account. But some other rewards include:

  • Bitcoin
  • Etherium
  • Dogecoin
  • Spotify gift cards
  • Amazon gift cards
  • DoorDash gift cards
  • Free Valorant points
  • League of Legend skins
  • Free Steam games
  • CS:GO skins
  • Free Call of Duty points

There are tons of other gift cards to choose from, and I also like that you can redeem free PayPal cash if you prefer actual money.

Plus, the minimum payout amount is $0.50 for some rewards. However, most popular cashout options actually have a $5 minimum.

How Much Does Freecash Pay?

Freecash claims that you can earn $1 every 5–10 minutes, which would be $6–12 per hour. However, the problem I have with this is that it assumes you’re getting tasks at all times, which isn’t usually true.

The site also claims that the average user makes $8.50 per day, but this can also be skewed by the users that earned $500 versus those that earned $0.50.

In my experience, Freecash pays $2–$3 per day (or $50-$100 per month) with a medium amount of effort.

If you’re absolutely grinding, you can likely make a lot more. The opposite goes for using it very casually.

I think that’s a pretty fair amount compared to other GPT sites that normally pay less. But it’s not going to pay more than a few dollars per hour at most for most people.

Final Thoughts

After trying out Freecash, I think it’s a legit rewards website that’s useful if you want plenty of ways to earn and more unique rewards.

I found the survey section a bit underwhelming. But the variety of rewards and robust Offerwall helps make up for this downside.

Ultimately, you can use Freecash if you want to make some quick money. Just have realistic expectations about how much money you can make.
